A look Back…
In December of 2015, a group from Grace Toronto Church gathered with the common desire to help global refugees. The small group decided to research the process of sponsoring the settlement of a Syrian refugee family in Canada, and after months of waiting (and raising the legally-required $30,000 for resettlement), on June 7, 2016, they got an email that a Syrian mother and father, along with their three children, would be arriving on June 20th.
Imprint Magazine recently featured a conversation between Imprint’s lead editor, Jen Michel, and Jen McNaughton, a member of the small group of Grace Toronto families that sponsored a Syrian refugee family several years ago. Read more about our first Refugee Sponsorship in 2016 here.

We have met our goal of raising $45,000 in sponsorship funds in less than 4 weeks! The sponsorship team thanks you for your help in reaching this goal through your financial generosity and prayer. God has met our needs despite limitations in our fundraising efforts due to COVID-19 restrictions.
