Giving sacrificially and cheerfully is an integral part of our worship. As believers, our goal is to be good stewards of that which God has entrusted to us. We call our members to give sacrificially and cheerfully to God– a vertical transaction rather than horizontal. But we do not talk percentage. Instead, we talk of gladly sacrificing for the sake of the gospel, knowing how gladly Jesus Christ sacrificed for our sake and knowing that all we have belongs to him.

"A Place for Grace in the City" is the movement at Grace Toronto Church to raise support for the purchase and renovation of our new church building in downtown Toronto.
We desire to see 383 Jarvis Street built into a new home for us and a place of grace, rest and mission in the heart of our city.

We realize that donations come in many forms. Planning Center Giving is a comprehensive donor management system that helps us to manage your gifts in a safe and secure system.

All donations will be charged in local currency, CAD.
IS IT SECURE TO GIVE ONLINE?
Yes, all payments are processed by Stripe and fully secure. For more details, visit: https://stripe.com/ca/privacy.
WHAT IS THE COST FOR THE SERVICE TO GIVE ONLINE?
We have considered multiple options for an online giving service and have made our selection based on the best rate and most user-friendly interface. The processing fee to our provider is 2.2% plus 30 cents per donation for Canadian Visa or Mastercard transactions. AMEX donations are 3.5% per transaction. Note: our previous fees with Stripe were 2.9% plus 30 cents per transaction.
HOW IS A TEXT-TO-GIVE DONATION PROCESSED?
Text “$ amount” to 84321 to give (ex. 25 generaldowntown) and press send. (Standard message & data rates may apply.) The link you receive via text message will take you to a credit card payment on a web browser. If you complete a transaction, future giving can be done completely through text. You can also text "Help" to view a legend of fund-specific donations. For hands-on technical support, visit the Welcome Table that is hosted by our Connections team, after Sunday service.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE AVAILABLE FOR TEXT-TO-GIVE?
You can set up your payment method via credit card, Visa Debit, Debit Mastercard, and any other payment method supported by Stripe.
WILL I RECEIVE A RECEIPT FOR A GIFT SENT THROUGH TEXT-TO-GIVE?
Yes. Every time you give, you'll get a receipt showing when you gave, how much, and where your donation was designated. In addition, this service is CRA-friendly. Your official annual tax receipt statement will continue to be sent via email once a year and will include any donations made through text-to-give.

Update Your Information
2020 Tax Receipts will be sent out primarily by email on February 2021. Other tax receipts will be mailed out if you do not have access to email. The Canada Revenue Agency requires your full name and mailing address for you to receive a valid tax receipt. If you have recently moved or changed your name, please update your information on our donations database (Planning Center Online Giving). Click the following link for more details:
