Mercy Week Session 2 - Learning From and Caring for People Living in Isolation

Join us for Mercy Week 2021 as we learn from people familiar with the challenges of restrictions, how to be creative, wise and daring as we reach out to others and move forward in times of isolation.

While many people have been struggling to cope with restrictions and isolation in the last year, these experiences have been an ongoing reality for people who have had a life changing injury, have become fragile with age, or have become prison inmates. For our second session, a Spiritual Care Provider at the Toronto General Hospital, a chaplain at Christie Gardens, and the director of New Life Prison Ministry will talk about the impact of isolation and how we can reach out to lessen the impact. As we listen we may find ways that may help us in our present time as we ourselves live with restrictions.
